I am currently recruiting for Service Centre Operators for my client, a leading supplier & cleaner in PPE, based in Livingston.

We are currently recruiting two Sevice Centre Operators, to join our client’s team based in Livingston. Our client is a well-known global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of safety products, including fire safety uniforms, that protect people and facility infrastructures.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable weekday hours and the chance to join a well-established organisation.

The Role
As a Service Centre Operator, you will play an important role in ensuring fire safety uniforms and protective garments meet strict quality standards before being returned to customers.

Following the laundering and drying process, garments undergo a detailed visual inspection to identify faults, wear, or damage so they can be repaired where possible and returned in a “fit for purpose” condition.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out detailed visual inspections of fire safety uniforms and protective garments

Identify faults, damage, or repairs required

Apply condition codes to garments following inspection

Ensure all items receive a “fit for purpose” ticket before dispatch

Attach repair documentation and action tickets where required

Accurately record inspections, condition codes, and repairs on the system

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inspecting different garments

Work collaboratively to maintain high quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail

Ability to identify quality issues or garment defects

Good organisation and accuracy when recording information

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Basic computer skills beneficial

Reliable with a strong work ethic
